Greetings Sisters of the Moon!

This is a place for women to celebrate our moontime. In past cultures, women would separate themselves from the rest of the community during menstruation. While this may not have always been of their choosing, a bond was created in the sharing of their wisdom. Either way, the women back then honored this time and acknowledged the magic that their blood held. In this day and age a female witch may not have the time or place to honor her moontime in such a way, but she can still acknowledge the magic of her moon blood.

However, many of us have been conditioned to be ashamed of our cycles, some of us may have even feared it, and a lot of these old modes of thinking can still be felt by our sanitized, perfumed, and douched vaginas. I hope we can come together to discuss the mystery and magic of our blood. From our blood life is born, and we should honor and celebrate this.

All are welcome here regardless of life stage or gender. Bear in mind that we are here to discuss our cycles with honesty and respect. There may be conversations that are highly descriptive and colorful. I encourage this. I personally feel that attuning to the natural rhythms of my body helps me in my life physically and magically. Maybe you feel this way too.
